Beat the heat with Tiger Beer’s 2026 ‘Brewed to Defy the Heat’ campaign

Tiger Beer is launching its “Brewed to Defy the Heat” campaign across the Klang Valley until May 31, 2026, featuring a customized Kombi van by artist Kenji Chai, on-ground interactive challenges and nationwide consumer rewards to celebrate the resilient spirit of Malaysians.

Tiger Beer has launched its “Brewed to Defy the Heat” 2026 campaign in Malaysia, aimed at rewarding consumers who embrace the scorching weather no matter how hot it gets, with refreshing, bold-tasting beers.

The campaign runs from now to May 31, 2026, featuring interactive on-ground experiences, including a “Kombi van” tour designed by Malaysian street artist Kenji Chai and a nationwide outlet promotion.

Inspired by the theme “Brewed To Defy The Heat”, Tiger Beer teams up with local artist Kenji Chai to transform a Kombi van into a moving canvas.

“Tiger Beer was born in the tropics, and the heat has always been part of life here.

“What stands out is how people continue to show up, come together, and make the most of it, and Tiger Beer has always been there in those moments,” said Julie Kuan, marketing manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia.

The specially designed Kenji Chai Kombi van is touring six locations in the Klang Valley. At each stop, the Kombi transforms into a hands-on challenge experience, inviting fans to step in and take on a fast-paced skill activity – the “ice-plunge” challenges.

The Kombi van will make stops at the following areas throughout May.

Consumers who purchase buckets or sets of Tiger Beer, Tider Draught, Tiger Crystal or Tiger Soju Flavoured Lager can enter a contest to win prices, including Dyson Air Purifier Fans (88 winners) or Tiger 8L Cooler Boxes (888 winners).

Participants can submit their receipt via QR code scanning at the outlets.

As part of the initiative, Kenji also painted a themed mural in Kuala Lumpur to reflect the campaign’s “defy the heat” spirit.

The mural is brought to life through a short film featuring scenes of relatable moments of socializing, such as time spent with friends and late-night plans.
