Pos Malaysia launched World Post Day 2026 on October 10, 2026, at the Kuala Lumpur General Post Office, featuring a special stamp collection and Malaysia’s first electric three-wheeler fleet for last-mile delivery.
Held under the theme “One Postal Network, Infinite Possibilities”, the celebration highlighted the vital role of power of postal networks in creating opportunities, promoting inclusion and connecting people, businesses and communities across borders.
The celebration was officiated by Communications Minister Dato’ Seri Fahmi Fadzil, alongside Pos Malaysia board member Datuk Imri Mokhtar.
“World Post Day is an opportunity to celebrate the vital role postal services continue to play in connecting people and businesses.
“While our heritage spans more than 200 years, our focus is firmly on the future. From digital solutions and expanded logistics capabilities to sustainable delivery innovations such as electric vehicles, we are continuously transforming how we serve Malaysians.
“This year’s theme, ‘One Postal Network, Infinite Possibilities’, reflects exactly what we are building at Pos Malaysia today, a postal network that continues to evolve, create value and unlock new opportunities for the communities and businesses we serve,” said Datuk Imri Mokhtar.
The programme featured the launch of the World Post Day 2026 special stamp, The Wira Award 2026, the presentation of prizes to winners of KESEF 2026 Stamp Folio Competition, and the introduction of the electric three-wheeler as a future addition to Pos Malaysia’s last-mile operations.

The World Post Day 2026 special stamp collection comprises a commemorative single stamp priced at RM1.30; first day cover with stamp (RM1.80); and folder (RM7.00).
The complete collection set, priced at RM34.80, is available from Oct 9, 2026 at 90 philatelic bureaus nationwide, including 13 General Post Offices, as well as selected post offices and the Pos Malaysia online store.
Alongside the stamp launch, the company unveiled the electric three-wheeled delivery vehicle to boost parcel-carrying capacity, improve courier safety and support zero-tailpipe-emission deliveries in dense urban area as part of its push toward green, sustainable logistics.
The new addition complements its existing fleet where one in every three parcels is already delivered via an electric vehicle (EV).
The event also featured the Wira Award 2026, and prize presentations for the KESEF (Kelab Setem and Filateli) 2026 Stamp Folio Competition.
The Wira Award 2026 honoured outstanding employees across the Best Postman, Best Courier, Best Retail and Best Customer Service categories for their dedication and service.
The KESEF (Kelab Setem and Filateli) 2026 Stamp Folio Competition honoured the creativity and unique historical storytelling of young philatelists across Malaysia.
Held under the theme “Rentasan budaya, cerita Malaysia melalui setem”, the competition winners were officially recognized across five main categories – Sekolah Rendah Tahap 2 (Year 4-6): SK Kg Baharu Lanjut Sepang; Sekolah Menengah Rendah (Form 1-3): SMK Tanjong Bunga Kelantan; Sekolah Menengah Atas (Form 4-5): SM Sains Kuala Selangor; Pra Universiti (Form 6): SMK Dato Ahmad Maher Kelantan; and Guru (Teacher) at SK Kg Baharu Lanjut, Selangor.
