MATTA Fair 2026 returns this Sept 4-6

The 59th National MATTA Fair takes place from Sept 4–6, 2026, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec), Kuala Lumpur, with Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) returning as the official airline partner and premier sponsor.

This edition of the fair features 2,054 booths from 306 participating organisations.

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) returns as the premier sponsor, featuring a large MAG Arena that brings together Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and Amal by Malaysia Airlines, alongside offerings and holiday packages from Enrich, Journify and MHholidays.

MATTA president Nigel Wong said travel remains one of the truest ways to connect with new places, different people, and often through unexpected adventures.

The MAG Arena spanning over 46,000 square feet of floor space and housing 60 booths will feature an immersive showcase of MAG’s diverse portfolio.

Visitors can experience the MAG digital innovations and next-generation cabin products and firsthand, and exclusive merchandise redemption for flight bookings.

Malaysia Airlines and Firefly are offering exclusive promotions and special fare deals across their domestic and international networks. Featured destinations include regional destinations such as Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Bali and Hanoi, as well as long-haul destinations including London, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo and Auckland.

MAG’s integrated travel ecosystem offers exclusive promotion and packages, through curated Flight + Hotel packages via MHholidays, lifestyle and travel deals via Journify, and added conveniences such as savings on seat selection and prepaid baggage.

The pavilion also features meet-and-greet sessions with sports icons and Manchester United legends.

Visitors can enter the MATTA Fair Buyers’ Contest by spending a minimum of RM100 at participating exhibitors, for a chance to win return Business Class tickets to premier destinations like Paris and Tokyo.

They can also join the Ride & Reels Contest or try the Spin & Win activity in Hall 5, Level 2.

The three-day Fair will also come alive with stage performances by local artistes to add to the festive atmosphere.

Admission to the MATTA Fair is free and is open from 10am to 9pm daily.
