The opening coincides with Claire Organics founder Louise Chu celebrating two SOBA (Star Outstanding Business Awards) wins and the debut of a new Discover Malaysia designer perfume collection, in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) tourism campaign.

Located on Level 2 of the Old Wing, the space serves as an experiential hub for natural self-care, aromatherapy education, DIY perfume workshops, VIP events and community activities.

The opening of the latest flagship store at 1 Utama Shopping Centre coincides with founder Louise Chu celebrating a double win at the prestigious Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA), where the brand took home Gold for Best in e-Retail and Silver for Best Green Initiative.

The event successfully brought together a vibrant mix of business partners, influencers, media representatives, digital creators, loyal customers and friends of the brand to celebrate the brand’s growth and launch.

A row of congratulatory flower stands outside the new store perfectly captures this milestone, symbolizing the deep relationships, trust and goodwill Louise Chu has built over the years within the community.

Claire Organics founder Louise Chu proudly holding the SOBA awards as a major milestone for the company, validating the brand’s core philosophy of “Kind Beauty” and its commitment to sustainability.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a highly emotional and family-focused event. Founder Louise Chu, chief operating officer Kirstie Chu (Louise’s younger sister) and their family led the opening, symbolizing the brand’s roots in love, family and sustainability.

The moment carried deep significance as Claire Organics was founded out of Louise’s love for her family and named after her daughter, Claire.

“Claire Organics began with love for my daughter, but it was the love and strength of my family that helped me continue. Today, I am not cutting this ribbon alone. I am cutting it with the people who carried this dream with me,” said Louise.

The opening marks a culmination of the brand’s 14-year journey, transitioning from mall kiosks to a fully immersive flagship boutique under the guidance of founder Louise Chu.

The company received two SOBA awards – the Gold Award for Best in e-Retail and the Silver Award for Best Green Initiative for its innovative natural skincare products at the Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA).

The Gold Award recognised Claire Organics’ achievements in digital retail and customer engagement, while the Silver Award acknowledged the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly business practices.

It was a particularly touching occasion when Louise’s parents were invited on stage to personally hand her the trophies and certificates, making the presentation especially meaningful.

“To receive these awards from my parents, who have witnessed every challenge and every step forward, means more to me than words can express,” Louise said.
