Celebrating Chinese heritage, beauty and female empowerment – Miss Chinese World

The 18 global delegates of Miss Chinese World 2026 are all set for the Grand Final, which will take place on May 30, 2026, at the Manhattan Ballroom of the Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 6th Miss Chinese World pageant is back after a 3-year hiatus, running from May 18 to June 1, 2026, featuring 18 global delegates in a two-week cultural journey.

Hosted at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel, the spectacular Miss Chinese World 2026 Grand Final culminates on May 30, gathering international delegates for a celebration of Chinese heritage, culture and tradition.

The event highlights thousands of years of Chinese heritage alongside modern female empowerment.

The Top 18 finalists, including from Japan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia, were formally presented to the media during the Delegates Introduction Day on May 20, 2026, held at the Manhattan Ballroom, Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

“Miss Chinese World is more than a beauty pageant. It is a platform that connects cultures, empowers women and celebrates heritage in a meaningful and modern way.

“We are proud to welcome delegates to Malaysia and look forward to showcasing the warmth, diversity and beauty of our country to an international audience,” said Miss Chinese World Pageant owner and president Tan Sri Danny Ooi.

Now in its sixth edition, the pageant also promotes peace, international goodwill, friendship and cultural tourism among participants from around the world.

“Through this meaningful event, audiences are reconnected with the richness of Chinese traditions that date back thousands of years, beautifully showcased on stage,” added Ooi.

In alignment with the Visit Malaysia 2026 tourism initiative, the competition positions Malaysia as an emerging pageant powerhouse while celebrating multicultural heritage.

The pageant will also showcase the nation’s beauty, hospitality and multicultural charm with audiences worldwide.

Prior to the crowning night, the finalists are embarking on a 14-day cultural and promotional journey. Highlights include heritage tours to multi-cultural landmarks such asthe Chan Clan Ancestral Hall, Merdeka Square, Central Market and city tours across Kuala Lumpur, including Petronas Twin Towers and Mercato at The Exchange TRX.

Carrying the theme “Four Seasons of Tradition”, the Grand Gala Dinner and Show is set to deliver an unforgettable evening of glamour, elegance and cultural storytelling.

One finalist will claim the ultimate crown, along with five subsidiary titles.
