Uniqlo unveils Spring/Summer 2026 LifeWear collection

Global apparel retailer Uniqlo has unveiled its Spring Summer 2026 LifeWear Collection at an exclusive preview held at Café @ Laman Tuanku, Kuala Lumpur on January 22, 2026.

Presented under the theme “Intelligent Simplicity,” the new collection offers a closer look at how the brand continues to evolve everyday clothing through simplicity, quality and purpose.

Guided by the LifeWear philosophy of clothing designed to improve everyday life by balancing form and function, the collection delivers thoughtful design solutions for modern living in warmer climates while staying true to comfort, versatility and ease of wear.

Urban Rome: A spring wardrobe for city and travel

The Urban Rome zone brings together style and comfort through versatile pieces designed for city life and travel. Featuring transitional pieces that carry through from the end of winter, the lineup includes short-length light weight outerwear, denim, ankle-length pants, knit polos and sweatshirts.

Their deeper colour palette includes pops of green, blue, pink and maroon that create polished yet relaxed looks that support movement, layering and everyday functionality throughout the seasons.

Amalfi Coast: A light and breezy summer mood

The Amalfi Coast zone captures the spirit of summer through a preppy, youthful aesthetic. Styling reflects a relaxed seaside mood, featuring lighter fabrics and brighter colours like yellow and orange reflecting a combination of energy and optimism.

Linen and cotton bring effortless comfort and natural breathability in warmer weather.

Timeless Essentials: Denim and UV protection

Developed through the Uniqlo Jeans Innovation Centre, each pair undergoes a meticulous process from fabric development and pattern design to sewing, finishing, quality testing and quality control. Advanced techniques are used to achieve durability, authentic texture and long-lasting wear.

This season, Uniqlo introduces three new denim silhouettes: Baggy Curve Jeans, JW Anderson Baggy Jeans and Baggy Jeans. The latest denim lineup features updated fits, elevated finishes and clean lines, balancing trend relevance with everyday versatility.

While sunscreen is an important part of sun protection, Uniqlo offers a convenient complement by integrating UV protection into clothing and accessories.

Fully refreshed under the creative direction of Clare Waight Keller, the eyewear collection combines comfort, functionality and modern design, with fits refined for both Asian and Western face shapes.

The lineup is organised into four design categories: Standard, Narrow, Wide and Active, catering to different lifestyles and preferences. All models feature UV400 lenses with 25 per cent blue light reduction, while selected Active styles include polarised lenses to reduce glare.

The press preview also showcased UT, Uniqlo’s graphic T-shirt line celebrating pop culture across art, manga, music, games, movies and characters. Featured collaborations included Manga UT Shueisha 100th anniversary, Babymonster, and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

In addition, Uniqlo C, designed by Uniqlo creative director Clare Waight Keller, was also presented as part of the preview.

Drawing inspiration from the rhythms of everyday life, the collection pairs relaxed fabrics with thoughtful tailoring to create refined yet wearable pieces designed to move seamlessly with the wearer.

Uniqlo’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection reinforces the brand’s commitment to LifeWear clothing that is simple, purposeful and designed to support everyday life, season after season.
