Durioo+, a safe and entertaining streaming platform for children, continues to cement its position as a leader in Muslim family entertainment with the release of a new international animated film titled Goldbeak The Movie, starting October 20, 2025.
The animated film, which has previously been screened internationally, is now available in an exclusive Malay version on Durioo+ platform, featuring a remake with the application of Islamic values and positive messages, making viewing suitable for all ages.
In the exclusive screening of Goldbeak The Movie at Durioo Studioo, the audience consisting of influencers and media representatives shared their excitement and positivity for the film.
“It’s nice to see kids watch movies like this. Apart from getting lessons, children can also learn Islamic values indirectly, for example the scene where the phrase ‘Alhamdullillah, Allahuakbar’ was spoken. It is rare for us to find foreign films with such Islamic values.

The event marked the sixth time that Durioo+ has successfully screened international films dubbed exclusively into the Malay language, some of which have also used artificial intelligence technology, to adapt overseas content to local and Islamic values, both visually and audio.
Earlier, Durioo+ made a big impact through the screenings of Bilal: Lahirnya Wira Baru and Cats The Movie which received a warm response from families in Malaysia.
Goldbeak is an animated adventure about a little eagle named Goldbeak raised by a family of chickens who sets out to discover his true identity. Driven by the desire to become a real eagle and the insistence of other chickens who are uncomfortable with his presence, Goldbeak decides to leave the village and head to a place inhabited by other eagles to find his origins.
There, he and his sister Ratchet have accidentally uncovered a black secret about Goldbeak’s biological family members who will be a threat to their village.
The inspiring movie with wonderful life lessons, provides some positive messages for young audiences about self-discovery, belonging and determination.
Goldbeak The Movie is directed by Irish animation director Nigel W. Tierney, who has directed and produced acclaimed music videos such as Bad Bunny, Little Dicky (Earth) and Jaden Smith (Goku), in addition to being involved in major DreamWorks productions such as Kung Fu Panda 3, How to Train Your Dragon 2, The Croods and Shrek Forever Afiter.
The film is also co-directed by Dong Long, the lead director of Liangzi Film (China) and features international voice actors David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place, How I Met Your Mother) as Goldbeak and Rachell Hofstetter (Valkyrae) as his younger sister, Ratchet.
Goldbeak has also received international recognition with nominations at the 35th China Golden Rooster Film Awards (Best Fine Arts Category), China International Childrenʼs Exhibition – Favorite Cartoons, as well as recognition by the State Film Administration of China as an Excellent Chinese Film Project.
In conjunction with the movie launch, Durioo+ also introduced the Durioo+ Movie Pack which offers 15 international and local films together 20,000 contents on Durioo+.

Durioo+ co-founder Nuown Zainal said Goldbeak was an interesting film to watch as a family as it has been carefully crafted to ensure it provides a positive and safe viewing experience for children.
“This is one of Durioo+’s initiatives to include more movies that are suitable for the whole family to watch.
