In celebration of Halloween, two popular neighbourhood malls the Curve and eCurve in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya recently organised a series of eerie yet fun activities for their loyal patrons both young and young-at-heart.

The malls areas were decorated using props for the playfully frightful ambience and looked like being the scariest place this Halloween. From jack-o’-lanterns, gnarled trees, skulls and skeletons, spiders and web to creepy bats dangling from above, the malls were transformed into spooky fun and harmless frightening entertainment areas for the children and their parents in the spirit of All Hallows’ Eve.

Visitors enjoyed some of the best spooky fun Halloween-themed activities such as a horror movie festival offering discounted tickets for horror movies like IT and Annabelle 2 and a mini entertaining performance showcasing costumed Jiang Shi (Chinese vampires) hopping around the malls to scare their audience and finally being tracked down and rendered immobile by a Sifu (master);

There was also a trick-or-treating session for 80 children aged between three to 10 in Halloween costume in a walkabout visiting various designated outlets to collect sweets, gifts and goodies.

Overall, it was fun, thrilling and thoroughly spooky experiences for everyone at the Curve and eCurve this Halloween.
