Out of The World Festival set to debut at Sepang Int’l Circuit on May 26-28

Launch of ‘Out of The World’ (OOTW), Malaysia’s first and largest water and music festival, featuring international and local artistes and an inflatable water theme park.

A brand-new water and music fest called ‘Out of The World Festival’ is taking place at Sepang International Circuit in Sepang, Selangor on May 26-28, 2023.

Festival organizer Genesis Entertainment Sdn Bhd announced the lineups for Malaysia’s first and largest water and music festival at a press conference at The Starhill, Kuala Lumpur on May 6.

The festival’s headliners include international and local artistes such as Dolla, Vgene, Resort, Midnight Fusic, Ty:Del, Riesa Anne, Han Xiiao Aii (韩晓嗳), Jovynn, Insomniacks, Mardiana, Chukiess & Whackboii, Lost Spaces, Rexx Fong, Je, NYK, Sherry Alyssa, Claudia Tan and Nahsyk.

In addition, the festival will also feature a myriad of activities such as a three-story inflatable water theme park, a never-before-seen in Malaysia AI-projection mapping of water slides and pools, art installations, an obstacle course and a food bazaar with various cuisines.

The 3-day festival is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees for an all-rounded, immersive, fun and cultural experience.

In his speech, Tourism Malaysia domestic and events senior director Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof said, “It is exciting to see our Malaysian corporations take the initiative to promote our rich mix of tourism and culture by leveraging entertainment to showcase Malaysia globally.

“Initiatives like these are key to generating an international demand for such events and driving tourism expenditures.”

He added, “I would like to congratulate everyone involved in the execution of the Out of The World festival, which provides a platform for Malaysians to learn and grow in this regard. I believe Malaysia has great potential in spearheading such hi-caliber events and I look forward to seeing more of it in 2023.”

Tickets to the OOTW can be purchased here, with early bird tickets priced at RM238 (1-Day Pass) and RM638 (3-Day Pass). Normal price tickets are RM338 (1-Day Pass) and RM918 (3-Day Pass).
