Tickets to Malaysia’s rock queen Ella’s 35th anniversary concert to be held at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on June 10 were sold out in just 24 hours, and breaking a new record for Malaysian artistes.
A joint statement issued by concert organisers Hitman Solutions and RockQueen said the “Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota” concert tickets went on sale on March 13 and more than 50% of the tickets were snapped up in two hours after sales started at 12pm.
It said they had to temporarily suspend ticket sales because the ticketing process have been seriously interrupted by more than 25,000 eager ticket buyers queuing on the website.
However, ticket sales resumed on same day at 5pm after the problem was resolved. By 7pm, 90% of the tickets were already sold and all the tickets for “Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota” concert was officially sold out at 12pm next day.
The “Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota” concert announcement was made by Ella at a press conference on March 10 to address the press on the deletion of all her social media postings and leaving a “Thank you for 35 years” post for her fans.
Hitman Solutions CEO and founder Rohit Rampal said the Ella concert tickets sold out in just 24 hours had broken a new record for any Malaysian artistes who had held their concerts at Axiata Arena.
“This just proves how amazing Ella’s fans are and I am in awe at how determined they were at getting the concert tickets. Without a doubt, Ella is definitely our Queen of Rock!”
Ella was blown away by fans support after tickets to her “Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota” concert were sold-out within 24 hours.
“I’m just thankful to all my fans from all over the world, especially those from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and also Brunei for showing such great enthusiasm in wanting to celebrate this coming concert with me.
“I can’t wait to give my all at the concert and hopefully the fans can pray for the wellbeing of all the parties involved so that this event will go on smoothly without any hiccups.”

Ticket price for “Jilid Akhir: Ella Puteri Kota” concert ranged from RM99 to RM499.
