Thirty bars are getting the recognition they deserved. They made it into the list of the inaugural Malaysia’s Top 30 Bar Awards 2022
If you are looking for the most beloved places for great food and fine drinking to start the evening off right in Malaysia, these 30 bars should be at the top of your list.
The list was revealed after adjudication by a selection committee composed of professionals and subject matter experts from the food and beverage industry.
Twenty special category winners were also announced at the Awards ceremony.
“Heartiest congratulations to all who have made the list which was a daunting task for the selection committee and yet a significant result to prove that the food and beverage (F&B) Industry in the country is progressing,” said Malaysia’s Top 30 Awards program founder Alvin Sinclair.
Malaysia’s Top 30 aims to elevate the food and beverage industry and work together closely with its key business partners to assist F&B operators to market their outlets. With a series of award events, Malaysia’s Top 30 Bars Award kickstarted to recognize the top bars and beer bars in Malaysia.
More than 200 bars were shortlisted before making the final 50 and going through the selection process of making the final 30 list, where judging was held between July and September 2022.
“Upon making the top 30 list, all bars will benefit from continuity right after the award ceremony. For example, a cocktail series is created to create the Top 30 cocktails in Malaysia. Other planning in the pipeline includes Masterclass, Guest Shifts and exclusive events,” added Alvin.
During the award ceremony, Malaysia’s Top 30 also presented a RM15,000 donation to Yayasan Chow Kit as part of giving back to the community and the mock cheque was received by Yayasan Chow Kit chief executive officer Ananti Raj.
Malaysia’s Top 30 Bar Awards is presented by Chivas Regal with other partners including Martell, Jameson, Heineken, Guinness, Absolut, Beefeater, The Glenlivet, Lillet, GH Mumm, Perrier, Fiji Water and Umai.
