TGV Pictures announced that the film ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’ will be released in cinemas starting October 27, 2022.
The Indonesia film ‘Miracle In Cell No.7’ is a remake of the South Korean film of the same name released in 2013.
The 2022 Indonesian version, directed by Hanung Bramantyo under the Falcon Pictures production house, won 2.4 million viewers after eight days of screening in cinemas in Indonesia.
Starring Vino G. Bastian, Graciella Abigail and Indro Warkop, the film tells the story of a disabled father named Dodo Rozak (Vino G Bastian) who is forced to separate from his daughter, Ika (Graciella Abigail).
Dodo was accused of murdering and raping a small child and sent to prison. In actual fact, Dodo is a person who loves children very much. While in prison, Dodo met a group of good inmates, played by Indro Warkop, Tora Sudiro, Bryan Domani, Indra Jegel and Rigen.
The heart-wrenching story of Dodo and Ika who were forced to be separated will surely bring many to tears.
