Music lovers were treated to an unforgettable concert experience at the City Roars Festival 2023 held in Kuala Lumpur at KLPAC and Zepp KL on April 29-30, 2023.
The annual festival, jointly organized by Kuala Lumpur-based music label and promoter Soundscape Records, Dong Tai Du and Taiwanese label Emerge Music, celebrates independent music artists from all over Asia, including Malaysia.
This year’s festival featured a host of high-energy performances, with talents from the local music industry like Masdo, Lost Spaces, Dirgahayu and Pitahati on Day 1 at KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre).
And on Day 2 at Zepp KL, the crowd was treated to a myriad of indie artists hailing from Japan, Indonesia and Taiwan.
Chow Tuck Mun, head of Yoodo, the official telco sponsor of City Roars Festival 2023, said the City Roars Festival was an important event that highlighted the diversity and vibrancy of the Kuala Lumpur music scene.
