Among this year’s Mrs Malaysia Petite World 2018 finalists include Veronica Justin, a Dusun from Sabah, who stands at 150 cm (4’ 11”).

The 31-year-old Veronica, an assistant director in the civil service since 2012, is a mother of two kids aged 4 and 2, and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry graduate from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

“I have always wanted to join beauty pageants but my lacking height prevented me as I did not meet the minimum height criteria which is usually 168 cm (5’ 6”).

“Since I am only 150 cm tall, I can only dream. So when I came across this Mrs. Malaysia Petite Wolrd 2018 Pageant in Facebook, naturally I was very excited because I finally got this opportunity. I think this is the best platform for me to realize my dream to join beauty pageants.

“This pageant for petite gives an opportunity to petite women especially married women to show their attitude, knowledge, confidence and beauty. For me a beauty pageant is all about balancing beauty with brains,” she said.

Veronica Justin hopes to reach her full potential in the Mrs Malaysia Petite World 2018 pageant final.

Veronica, a Roman Catholic Christian, who was born in Ranau, Sabah and now resides in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur since 2008, is excited to be a finalist in Mrs Malaysia Petite World 2018.

‘By being a part of this beauty pageant, I hope to gain an opportunity to discover my strengths and perfect them, realize my weaknesses and transform them into strengths, and take home the crown of Mrs. Malaysia Petite World 2018.

“I’m forest lover. If I am a winner, I would invite all Malaysians to join me to love a forest by carrying out conservation awareness programs such as tree planting and green cleaning,” she said.

Veronica loves singing, dancing, travelling and workouts in the gym with her husband-cum-coach. For the talent show, she sang the popular Indonesian song “Lagi Syantik” by dangdut singer Siti Badriah.
