Yayasan MR DIY, the philanthropic arm of MR D.I.Y. Group, has partnered with Food4u to support the homeless by distributing food packs to the homeless at two locations in Kuala Lumpur.

A total of 600 food packs, which consisted of biryani rice, cream biscuits, bread and mineral water, were prepared and distributed.

The food distribution was conducted on March 25, 2025, at the Medan Tuanku Homeless Service Centre, and on March 27, 2025, at Jalan Sayur, Pudu.

Food4u representative Tony expressed his gratitude to Yayasan MR DIY for their collaboration in assisting the needy.

“We hope that this effort will not only alleviate their burden, but also inspire more parties to come forward to help the less fortunate,” he said.

The programme is a corporate social responsibility initiative in line with the “Raya Penuh Makna” campaign by home improvement retailer MR DIY for 2025, which aims to strengthen ties, share joy and create meaningful memories.

The food donation initiative not only reflected the commitment of both parties in providing aid to those in need, but also aimed at increasing the society’s awareness of the importance of sharing “rezeki” (sustenance), fostering humanity and caring for the less fortunate regardless of religious or racial background.
