Samsung Malaysia has unveiled its all-new Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Watch8 series at the Galaxy Unfolds Roadshow event at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s main concourse on July 16, 2025, highlighting its latest advancement in foldable technology.
The launch was officiated by Samsung Malaysia Electronics president Charles Kim, alongside Mobile eXperience Business head Matthew Ng, chief marketing officer Elaine Soh and Mobile eXperience Business business director Kevin Kim Taehoon.
A dazzling spectacle of models with the Galaxy Z Series phones in hand, then took to the runway, accentuating the sleek designs that characterise the Samsung Galaxy devices.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are Samsung’ thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldables from Samsung to date, offering seamless integration of Galaxy AI and Gemini Live.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 weighs at just 215 grams and measures 8.9 mm thick when folded and 4.2 mm thick when unfolded, while the Galaxy Z Flip7 weighs 188 grams and is just 6.5 mm thin when open and 13.7 mm when closed.
Three content creators Umar Naqshbandi, Jinnyboy and Mekyun shared their personal journeys with the latest Galaxy Z Series devices, highlighting how Galaxy AI and Gemini Live have become essential tools in their daily lives and have empowered them to do more, create more and live smarter.
Korean model and actor Lee Soo-hyuk finally appeared on stage, greeted by thousands of fans who had come to see him, turning the venue into a frenzy-like atmosphere.
Lee Soo-hyuk even interacted with fans, signing autographs and taking photos and videos with them using the new Galaxy Z Fold7. He even attempted to speak a few words in Malay, saying “Aku cinta padamu” (I love you) and received loud cheers from fans and guests.
Lee Soo-hyuk is known for his roles in several popular K-dramas, including Scholar Who Walks the Night and Doom at Your Service, and starred in the recent web series S Line.
Since its inception in 2019, the Galaxy Z Series has evolved its journey towards pioneering reliable foldable mobile technologies, transitioning from a bold concept in 2011 to a globally recognized product line.
Today, the Galaxy Z Series is part of Samsung’s flagship line up, a core part of the ecosystem, that offer a powerful and seamless experience with Galaxy AI and Gemini Live.
The Galaxy Unfolds Roadshow, which runs until July 20, 2025, allows visitors to experience the latest Samsung products through hands-on zones. These zones offer interactive installations and ecosystem demos, showcasing the refined foldable designs, Galaxy AI features and seamless integration with the Galaxy Watch Series and SmartThings with Gemini Live.

Participants are invited to customize their devices with a wide array of accessories, colours, and styles, allowing them to express their individual creativity and making their Galaxy experience truly unique.
From July 9 to 31, 2025, visitors can place on-site pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Series and Galaxy Watch8 Series during the roadshow and enjoy exclusive gifts and promos.
Customers will be able to pre-order the new Galaxy Z series from RM3,999.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is priced starting from RM7,799 (12GB RAM and 256GB storage), while the Galaxy Z Flip7 is priced from RM4,999 (12GB RAM and 256GB storage). The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is available exclusively online, starts at RM3,999 (8GB RAM and 128GB storage).
