University of London’s international campaign spotlights Malaysian student success

University of London’s latest international campaign “Join the Worldclass” is offering Malaysian students high-quality education without leaving home.

The University of London, a leading UK-based institution specialising in online and distance learning, is celebrating the achievements of its Malaysian students in a new international campaign.

Titled “Join the Worldclass”, the campaign showcases the success stories of both alumni and current students from Malaysia who are advancing their careers through University of London programmes while studying from their home country.

The campaign highlights the transformative power of high-quality higher education by focusing on real-life experiences.

Students who choose the University of London become part of a global community of scholars comprising 40,000 individuals from 190 countries, all pursuing their degrees while staying in their home countries.

Among the featured students are Shobita Nagulendran and Thaddeus Gabriel Jalleh, recent graduates who completed their University of London Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees at Brickfields Asia College in Kuala Lumpur.

Overall, it prepares you well for the job market.”

During the launch of the “Join the Worldclass” campaign, Wendy Thomson CBE, vice-chancellor of University of London expressed immense pride of their students and alumni in Malaysia.

“Through this campaign, we aim to share their stories and celebrate their achievements, inspiring everyone interested in higher education to consider studying with the University of London.

“With our internationally recognised, flexible programmes, students can earn a UK-based university degree while staying in Malaysia,” she said.

She added: “Looking forward, the University of London is committed to expanding its initiatives in Malaysia, providing more opportunities for Malaysian students to access high-quality education without leaving their home country.”

The University of London offers flexible online and distance learning models, allowing students to pursue international degrees through fully online independent study or structured learning experiences with face-to-face support. The support is provided through a network of Regional Teaching Centres.
