Tune Talk launches in-app entertainment hub with streaming and gaming features

Malaysia digital telco Tune Talk has launched its an in-app entertainment hub – Games and Drama on the Tune Talk App, becoming the first telco in the country to offer both streaming and gaming within the mobile application.

The new feature allows users to watch dramas, play games and earn rewards all in one place, with no extra downloads or logins required.

Games and Drama on the Tune Talk App – No more boring data plans as Games and Drama are now all at your fingertips.

The new in-app feature was developed in partnership with Jolibox, a cloud entertainment platform specializing in content delivery and gamification.

Users can stream a curated selection of drama series, while the games offer a variety of casual, no-download-needed games that are quick to play and easy to enjoy.

Users can also earn Tune Talk points from every watch or play session, which can be redeemed to unlock content, skip ads or enjoy exclusive in-app rewards.

According to the Digital 2025: Malaysia report by DataReportal, 97.7% of the local population are internet users and there are 43.3 million cellular mobile connections in early 2025 – equivalent to 121% of the total population. This underscores the nation’s readiness for such integrated, app-based entertainment solutions.

As part of the launch, Tune Talk is offering one-month of free access to all subscribers, starting from the launch date. After the promotional period, Drama will be available for Epik 50+ subscribers, while Games will be accessible to both Epik 50+ and Epik 35+ subscribers.
