In conjunction with Christmas, Tropicana Foundation, the charity arm of Tropicana Corp Bhd, and WOW Event Asia, an event organizer, joined efforts to bring joy and smiles to underprivileged children of Ti-Ratana Welfare Society and Rumah Kasih Harmoni.
The children were treated to a day of fun at Tropicana Gardens Mall in Petaling Jaya and enjoyed a Christmas luncheon, treated to tickets to Golden Screen Cinemas, and visit to “The World of DC Exhibition,” where they enjoyed a showcase of iconic superheroes such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman.
The foundation said the luncheon and treats were aimed at bringing smiles and cheer to the underprivileged children as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to celebrate the festive season.
The charitable initiative underscored Tropicana’s commitment to engaging with and uplifting underprivileged segments of society, as part of its sustainable approach to environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) principles.
Since its inception in 2011, Tropicana Foundation has channeled over RM23 million to charitable causes across Malaysia.
