
The Nutriplus Run 2025 was successfully held on Dec 21 at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, in conjunction with the Malaysia Sports and Leisure Expo, bringing thousands of Malaysians together, including runners, families and fitness enthusiasts, in a vibrant celebration focusing on health, wellbeing and active lifestyles.
The event was officiated by Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Maslan, whose presence highlighted the importance of promoting an active lifestyle and supporting community-based wellness initiatives.
Also present were Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Datuk Mohd Azani Omar, represented by ACP Aidil Bolhassan, Cheras District police chief; Nutriplus Group executive director Dato’ Yap Chor How; Nutriplus director of operations Yap Chor Wen; and National Sports Institute (ISN) chief executive officer Dr Vellapandian Ponnusamy.

The presence of Yuan Yu Fang from O,E Group, winner of the SEA Games Gold Medal in the walking event; and Yeow Ni Jia, Malaysia’s marathon representative at the last SEA Games, inspired and motivated the participants and reinforced the values of discipline, perseverance and healthy living through sports.
Nutriplus Run 2025 also featured element of inclusion with the participation of several associations of persons with disabilities (OKU), namely the Persatuan BikeisAble, Persatuan Kasih OKU and Persatuan Pelari OKU Kura2.
Their participation reflected the organizer’s commitment to promoting inclusive sports and ensuring that active participation opportunities can be enjoyed by all segments of society.

The event was supported by industry partners and co-sponsors of the Nutriplus Run, including Eddie Saw (US Potatoes), Sharifah Durrah (California Raisins) and Ethan Kao (general manager of Footer).
As the title sponsor of the Nutriplus Run by Air1can, this event marked the first time Nutriplus has sponsored the event, featuring various race categories (15km, 10km and 5km) suitable for runners of all fitness levels.

Participants also enjoyed attractive goodie bags, interactive booths and variety of exciting activities throughout the expo area, creating a holistic sports and wellness experience.

Nutriplus Run by Air1can project director Ruth Loh expressed gratitude to all sponsors and partners for their unwavering support and commitment, noting that the success of the event was very meaningful considering it was the first time sponsored by Nutriplus.
With encouraging participation and support from various parties, Nutriplus Run 2025 came to a successful conclusion, strengthening Nutriplus’ commitment to promoting healthier, more active and inclusive lifestyles among Malaysians.
