Following the success of its inaugural edition in June this year, the Knights Award returns in December 2023 with its 2nd season, featuring a greater prominent selection of awardees from across Asia.
The announcement was made at a press conference which was held at Chakri Raintree Skybar, Rooftop Dorsett Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur on Sept 26, 2023.
Dr Zyro Wong, the founder and president of The Knights Award stated during the launch event: “We are excited to launch this second season of The Knights Award, given how it has successfully united all inspiring businesses to make a difference in the community since the preceding chapter.
“Malaysia and the entire region are bound to witness even greater ideas coming to life following this upcoming new chapter of The Knights Award.”
Wong said the standard of the award will be brought to even greater heights this second season with the presence of many more international and national business leaders, celebrities, key opinion leaders and other significant stakeholders.
Details of the award categories, selection criteria and nomination process were unveiled during the event.
The event also witnessed the signing of three Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) involving The Knights Award.
The first MOU was inked with the Malaysia-China Silk Road Business Chamber, aiming to facilitate businesses in their international market endeavors, particularly in the Chinese market.
The second MOU involved The Knights Award and Influasia, a digital media platform, aimed at enhancing the branding and visibility of award winners.
Lastly, The Knights Award entered into a third MOU with Chamrun Digital Group, focusing on providing support to award winners in their digital transformation efforts, enhancing their competitiveness.
The Knights Award 2023 is a prestigious business award event that seeks to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of businesses across Asia continents.
The Knights Award also signifies the growth and development of the business community that constitutes the pillar of the Malaysian economy.
The Knights Award aims to create an elite nexus of leaders to enable cross-border and cross-industry collaborations for maximum market exposure and joint success through continuous networking sessions and private functions among the winners.
The ennoblement ceremony will take place on Dec 13 this year at W Kuala Lumpur Hotel, that will recognize award winners for their exceptional performance in their respective industries. These leaders are emblematic of excellence, innovation and sustainability.
