4. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse

5. Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden
For British-style fish and chips, look no further than Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden located at Level 4, SkyAvenue. A specially curated set menu for small eaters comprising battered squid, a small cod with gravy, chocolate brownies and their signature lemonade is available at RM90 per pax; whilst larger sets for two comprising prawn cocktail, battered cod bites, 2 sets of Cod, Whispering Angel Rose wine and more start from RM500.
Chinese culinary cuisine tradition:
1. Genting Secret Garden Hotpot
Treat dad and the family to the ultimate comfort food amidst a curated garden setting with lush greenery at Genting Secret Garden Hotpot, Level 2, Highlands Hotel for lunch (12noon till 2:30pm) or dinner (6pm till 9:30pm). Let a symphony of flavours dance across your taste buds as you relish Chinese wine free-range chicken, toman, pork cocktail sausages, enoki mushrooms, pork and chive dumplings and more in tomato soup and wild tea with Chinese herb soup at RM500 for a table of 6. A more lavish set with Boston lobster, Nagano pork collar, pomfret and more in spicy Sichuan soup and super collagen soup is also available at RM1,000 for 10 pax.
2. Genting Palace
If dad is truly old school, Genting Palace is serving up elevated Chinese fare for lunch (12noon till 2:30pm) and dinner (6:00pm till 9:30pm) with two different set menus featuring marinated village chicken with empress stock, stir-fried sea prawns with black soya and tamarind, steamed river lanbang patin fillet with garlic and “Putian” style stewed pork belly with spices amongst other fabulous dishes for 3-4 pax at RM500. For tables of up to 6 pax, set menus featuring baby abalone with ice plant salad, yuzu sauce and crispy salted egg fish skin; double-boiled pork rib, Japanese mushroom and tendon soup; and crispy prawn toast with marinated hot and sour Hunan cucumber and more are available at RM1,000.
