Taiwanese singer Zhao Chuan is set to perform in Malaysia again this coming May.
The veteran pop star, or more commonly known by his fan given moniker, “Chief Chao” makes a comeback with a live concert at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on May 11, 2024.
Zhao last performed for Malaysian fans at Resorts World Genting in January 2023.
Fans will be taken for a stroll down memory lane with a rendition of Zhao’s hit single, I’m Ugly but Gentle, a song from his debut album, which propelled him to instant stardom in Taiwan and mainland China upon its release in 1988.
Zhao who has spent over three decades in his international music career, will perform his extensive repertoire of evergreen classics from the 80s and 90s for the fans to relive memories.
Fans can look forward to an inspiring evening with a chockful of the Mandopop icon’s greatest hit songs such as I’m Just A Little Bird, I’ve Finally Lost You, You Are Always On My Mind, How Should I Express My Love To You, Promise and The Fool Who Loved You.
