Systech Bhd announces appointment of two new executive directors

Systech Bhd has appointed two new executive directors, Dato’ Jonathan Lim Ying Ran (left) and Dr. Wilson Low Min Yew to its board, effective July 10, 2025.

Systech Bhd, a digital transformation and technology solutions provider, has announced the appointment of two new executive directors, Dato’ Jonathan Lim Ying Ran and Dr Wilson Low Min Yew, to its board, effective July 10, 2025.

The appointments are part of Systech’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its board and leadership and steering the Group through a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Both Dato’ Jonathan Lim and Dr. Wilson Low bring with them a wealth of experience in technology, innovation and strategic execution that will be pivotal in scaling the Group’s business across Southeast Asia and beyond.

Dato’ Jonathan Lim, aged 42, is a seasoned entrepreneur, technology strategist and civic leader with over 17 years of experience, spanning telecommunications, software engineering, public safety technology and business innovation.

He began his career at Ericsson Malaysia, providing technical support in core network systems, before moving to Jinny Software Ltd, where he led technical support operations for mobile operators across the Asia Pacific region.

In 2007, he founded the MMG Group of Companies, a tech enterprise that initially focused on iOS application development, which has diversified into e-commerce, mobile solutions and cross-sector digital services, including collaboration with Social Security Organasation (SOCSO) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on development of a mobile emergency call assistance application aimed at improving public safety response nationwide.

Dato’ Jonathan Lim holds the honorary rank of Mejar (PA) in the Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (Malaysia Civil Defence Force) since 2018. He is also the founder and chairman of the Possible Foundation, a non-profit organisation established in 2024 focusing on education, healthcare, disaster response and community welfare.

Dato’ Jonathan Lim holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Asia Metropolitan University, as well as dual degrees in Computing Science and Computer Science from Staffordshire University in the UK. He has a direct interest in 4,980,000 ordinary shares in Systech Bhd.

Dr. Wilson Low, aged 38, is a digital transformation leader and accomplished technopreneur with over 15 years of industry experience in IT strategy, project management, cross-border operations and enterprise software development. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Systech Digital Solutions Sdn Bhd, a key player in the group’s digital advancement efforts.

Dr. Wilson Low began his career in 2010 with Cubinet Interactive Sdn Bhd, a regional online gaming firm, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become overseas operations manager.

In 2016, he launched Wilstech IT Smart Solutions, initially supplying IT hardware to government agencies, and expanded the business to encompass the development and provision of software and digital services.

His foresight and leadership propelled the company to rapid growth, culminating in its acquisition by Systech Bhd, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the group’s AI and enterprise technology capabilities.

Dr. Wilson Low has since led a series of high-impact digital transformation initiatives for startups, SMEs, and multinational clients. His portfolio includes major deployments of ERP, CRM, cybersecurity and AI-integrated systems across diverse sectors including finance, manufacturing and public administration. He has also forged partnerships with global platforms such as Deskera and Hreasily to enhance Systech’s capability to deliver advanced digital infrastructure solutions.

Dr. Wilson Low holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Wilmington Metropolitan University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Asia Metropolitan University. He has an indirect interest in 26,872,900 ordinary shares in Systech Bhd.

The addition of Dato’ Jonathan Lim and Dr. Wilson Low to the board comes at a time when Systech is poised for regional expansion and deeper integration of AI and digital technologies across its solutions portfolio. Their combined expertise is expected to enhance Systech’s ability to anticipate future trends, optimise internal capabilities, and lead in a competitive digital economy.
