PUTRAJAYA – Hannah Yeoh encouraged organisations to play an important role in supporting causes which help disadvantaged members of the community to assimilate comfortably
A corporate social responsibility (CSR) event, Special Olympics Bowling Tournament by Villamas Metacity with deputy women, family and community development minister Hannah Yeoh in attendance was held recently at Wangsa Bowl in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.
This CSR initiative with the Special Olympics Selangor’s intellectually disabled (ID) athletes saw a total of 100 participants at the bowling tournament.
Villamas Metacity Group’s directors and personnel participated with the intellectually disabled athletes on the same team.
Present at the CSR event were Villamas Metacity Group CEO Gan Teck Seong and Special Olympics Selangor president Patricia Wong.
In her speech, Hannah Yeoh thanked Villamas Metacity and encouraged organisations to continue to play an important role in supporting worthy causes which help disadvantaged members of the community to assimilate comfortably into society.
Special Olympics Selangor (SOS), Persatuan Kelab Kiwanis Uptown, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rasa Sayang Selangor benefited from the CSR program. They received mock cheques from Hannah Yeoh during a presentation ceremony.
