Souper Tang, the Malaysia-based restaurant renowned for serving authentic Chinese herbal cuisine, has officially launched its new flagship store, and introduced nine new varieties of herbal soups at Sunway Pyramid in Subang Jaya on Nov 17, 2024.
The new store at Sunway Pyramid in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya spanning about 5,700 square feet is the largest outlet of its kind in Malaysia, and it includes state-of-the-art decor and multiple VIP rooms, designed to serve as an exclusive event space for hosting a variety of celebrations.
The grand opening event on Nov 17, 2024 featured a lion dance performance and a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Seputeh MP Teresa Kok and Malaysia’s national badminton icon and two-time Paralympic gold medalist Cheah Liek Hou.

Over a hundred attendees, including representatives from industry associations, influencers, sports enthusiasts and mall visitors gathered to hear Cheah Liek Hou share valuable insights into the discipline, resilience, and dedication required for sustained success.

The new store introduced the Souper Tang SouperFast Herbal Soup series, featuring nine different soups ready in 30 minutes to meet consumers’ growing demand for healthier options while providing them with nourishing cuisine.

Both these accomplishments highlight Souper Tang’s leadership in the herbal-based culinary sector and its ability to meet the growing demand for high-quality, health-focused meals.
Souper Tang has recently achieved remarkable milestones in its growth journey, including its two entries in the ASEAN Records for ‘ASEAN’s Largest Restaurant Chain Specializing in Chinese Herbal Cuisine’ and ‘ASEAN’s Largest Hamper Brand by Cumulative Sales.’
