The prestigious pageant titles have been announced.
Vanessa De Ella Roselle and R. Kabilan, both of Singapore have been crowned Super Model Universe 2024, in the female and male categories respectively, becoming the first time Singapore to ever win the international modelling competition in both categories.
Malaysia played host to this year’s Super Model Universe 2024 pageant again after a successful 2023 Super Model Universe final. The event took place at Wyndham Grand Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur on Nov 16, 2024.
The final featured 20 contestants from around the globe, including China, Philippines, Russia, Siberia, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Singapore, India and host Malaysia, each vying for the prestigious title.
The magnificent evening delivered an encore performance with the hosting of Super Model Universe 2024 International Grand Final, as well as the Mrs Classic Universe Malaysia 2024 and Woman of the Universe Malaysia 2024 events.
Super Model Universe principal and owner of Mrs Universe Ltd in Bulgaria, Megi Savova and Ioan Karamfilov were welcomed at the Grand Final by Supermodel Universe Malaysia national director Ammetta Malhotra and Mrs Classic Universe Malaysia co-national director Previtha Rajah.
The guest-of-honour for that evening was Dr Raja Putra Shah, adviser of the International Entrepreneur Chamber Malaysia.
The combined pageant also crowned Mrs Classic Universe Malaysia 2024 winner Carol Lim. She was also named Best National Costume.
Rebecca Nair meanwhile received top honour that saw her crowned as Mrs Classic Universe West Malaysia 2024. She also bagged the Most Popular title.
In the Woman of the Universe Malaysia 2025 contest, Sri Wassu took home the crown.
This year’s Man of the Universe 2024 was also celebrated, with Kesavan Odaiappan of Singapore declared the winner.
The competition welcomed the international delegates to Malaysia, introducing them to the vibrant culture, beautiful scenery and delicious food in the country.
“This was a great year. All the delegates have been amazing. We would like to congratulate all the winners and participants for their tireless efforts and exceptional commitment with their performances in making this night not only a success, but also a celebration of unity and friendship on the global stage,” Ammetta said.
“We also would like to extend our heartiest thanks to all the sponsors, partners, and each and every person who made our final night such a success.”
Some of the notable judges at the Super Model Universe 2024 coronation night included Mrs Universe Ltd chief executive officer Megi Savova, fashionista and creative director Francis Yip, Super Model Universe Malaysia Ambassador 2023 Datin Farrah Ahmad, Mrs Classic Universe Malaysia 2023 second runner-up Vimala Pappu, Mrs Borneo International World 2024 Jasrina Jasni, Super Model Universe 2023 Irina Kirsanova and Mister Super Model China Zheng Zhen.
Main sponsors which supported the event included Radstone Capital Group that gave one lucky guest on a free trip to Milan, Italy, and The Heal Kuala Lumpur that awarded RM55,000 worth of medical treatment to the winners of Mrs Classic Universe Malaysia and Woman of the Universe Malaysia.
