Sime Darby Motors lights up largest automotive complex in Ara Damansara for Christmas

This holiday season visitors can enjoy the festive atmosphere at Sime Darby Motors Christmas City featuring Christmas decorations.

Sime Darby Motors City in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya is ringing in joy and good cheer to welcome visitors with a lineup of events this holiday season by transforming into Sime Darby Motors Christmas City.

Touted as the largest automotive complex in Southeast Asia, the sprawling site spanning across 8.6 acres is illuminated with Christmas lights and beautiful decorations.

The centrepiece attraction will be a towering 51-foot Christmas tree lit by dazzling red and white lights.

The highlight will be the two-day street event on December 17 and 18 that is open exclusively to Sime Darby Motors customers. There will be live music, Christmas carols, food trucks, as well as various activities and games including an EPL screening that will bring Sime Darby Motors Christmas City to life as the countdown to Christmas begins.

Sime Darby Motors Christmas City lights will unite its stable of world-class vehicle brands under a grand canopy of lights stretching through the entranceway of the facility.

These brands include BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, MINI, Motorrad, Porsche and Volvo, as well as Sime Darby Motors’ pre-owned car retailer Sime Darby Auto Selection.

Sime Darby Motors retail and distribution managing director Jeffrey Gan said they are truly excited to present Sime Darby Motors Christmas City in their first year to bring memorable experience for Malaysians.

“Reflecting our aspiration to be more than an exemplary automotive centre, we have created a festive atmosphere in this unique setting to delight our visitors, bringing holiday cheer to all, in addition to activities to give back to the community through charity donations,” he said.

Sime Darby Motors City unites its stable of world-class vehicle brands under a sweeping canopy of lights with a towering 51-foot Christmas tree as the centrepiece attraction.

Visitors will be among the first to experience new vehicles unveilings such as the new Volvo XC60 showcased on December 4 and 5. The new Ford Ranger WildTrak Sport Special Edition will be launched to the public on December 8 and followed by the launch of the new Hyundai Palisade on December 16. Porsche will showcase the recently launched seventh generation 911 GT3 at Porsche Centre Ara Damansara from 17 December.

Festive offers are also available at the respective Sime Darby Motors vehicle brands, including attractive cash rebates, low interest rate and financing offers, and additional service offers for new vehicle purchase.

Visitors to Sime Darby Motors Christmas City can donate to charitable causes.

In the spirit of giving, Sime Darby Motors is organizing a Christmas charity fundraising to aid five non-governmental organizations (NGOs), namely Faith Hope Love Hospice Care Malaysia, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA Selangor), Befrienders KL, Make-A-Wish Malaysia and Cahaya Society.

Those who want to donate will only need to scan the QR codes and make a donation using their e-wallets.

Starting from December 6, there will also be a charity drive where customers can visit the showrooms at Sime Darby Motors City to donate in-kind contributions such as groceries, toys, books and clothing, which will be distributed to orphanages on December 22.

To ensure the safety of visitors, all activities will be held in line with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the relevant authorities. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed at various locations within the complex. Individual vaccination certificates will also be checked upon entry.
