Santa Grand Classic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur has raised the culinary quotient with the soft opening of its new all-day dining destination, Kapitan Bistro.
The mezzanine-floor restaurant serves comfortable bistro favourites in a modern and welcoming environment.
“We have created a thoughtful menu with a range of variety dishes, each carefully prepared to highlight the best of what our community has to offer,” said Santa Grand Hotel assistant sales director Abdul Qaiyum.
The head chef Chef Jailani and sous-chef Chef Fariz have over twelve years of experience in the culinary sector, having worked at various prominent restaurants and received recognition for their culinary skills and experience.
They are well-known for their devotion to using fresh, local-sourced products which complement the restaurant’s attitude of sustainability and excellence.

The Santa Grand brand was established in 2011 with the first hotel Santa Grand East Coast in Singapore. It has opened two hotels Santa Grand Signature Kuala Lumpur and Santa Grand Classic Kuala Lumpur in the span of two years from 2020 – 2022.
The 3-star Santa Grand Classic Kuala Lumpur is located next to Central Market and just a short walk away from Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown. The hotel has an alfresco atmosphere with an interesting selection of vendors selling local delicacies and handcrafts.
