Newly crowned Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2023 Sangeet Kaur, from Ipoh, Perak is all set to give her best at the global pageant of Mrs Tourism Queen International 2023 to be held in Nonkhai, Thailand from April 8 to 16.
She will be representing the country and competing against 19 other nations in the Mrs Tourism Queen International 2023.
Sangeet, a 41-year-old marketing manager for a private university said, “It’s a great honour for me to represent my country Malaysia in such a prestigious international pageant. I am excited and I can’t wait to meet all the beautiful delegates at the final.”
With her new title, the mother of two kids said she will use the opportunity to promote Malaysia as a tourist destination.
“I will be meeting the delegates from different countries and as the tourism ambassador, I would like to influence a positive change and showcase the hospitality and diverse culture of our beautiful Malaysia to the outside world with the belief in making tourism better for everyone, everywhere as tourism is the key to bringing the world together,” she said.
At a coronation press conference on April 7, 2023, Sangeet was crowned Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2023 by ERM Marketing franchise holder Sean Chia.
She was sent off to Nongkhai, Thailand in KLIA on April 9.
In the next one week, the international delegates will go through grooming sessions, photo shoots, city tours, recreational activities and preparations including joining floral parade and Songkran festival, leading up to the final on April 16, 2023.
“We wish Sangeet success in Mrs Tourism Queen International so that she can bring international glory to our country,” said Yingzi Event & Marketing director Madam Lim Siew Cheng, the organiser for the Mrs Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2023 Pageant.
Lim added, “We hope Sangeet will enjoy the experience as well as promote Malaysia’s beauty and its diverse cultures to fellow participants during the competition.
