Rumah Charis home children get special treat by Nestlé

Some 40 underprivileged children at Rumah Charis Children Home were treated to a fun-filled evening that included hands-on experience for the children making their own Nestum cookies.

The children were also entertained with fun activities including playing with balloons, colouring, face painting, as well as competing in exciting party games.

As part of its ‘Reaching Out to Community and Kids (ROCKS) employee volunteer programme, over 30 Nestlé volunteers, including its senior management were at the home bringing with them love, cheer and happiness to the children.

Children from Rumah Charis were treated to a scrumptious meal.

Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad CEO Alois Hofbauer said: “Over the last 12 years, the company had been reaching out to those in need and helping to bring a positive change to communities where we operate. Today, we are very happy to have this opportunity to share our love with the children and residents with Rumah Charis.”

Nestlé also presented several electrical items that were needed by the home such as standing fans, electronic oven, PA system as well as various Nestlé products.
