Resorts World Genting wins Best ASEAN New Tourism Attraction Award at 34th ASEANTA Excellence Awards

Resorts World Genting (RWG) bagged the “Best ASEAN New Tourism Attraction” award at the 34th ASEANTA Excellence Awards held at Amari Johor Bahru, recently.

The ASEANTA Excellence Awards, spearheaded by the Association of South East Asian Nations Tourism Association (ASEANTA), a non-profit tourism association comprising both public and private tourism sector organizations from ASEAN, celebrates the finest achievements in ASEAN tourism whilst recognising the invaluable contributions of its members.

The award was presented by ASEANTA President Eddy Krismeidi Spoemawilaga and ASEANTA Excellence Awards chairman Oknha Chhay Sivlin to RWG vice president of sales Chrissie Lim.

“We are thrilled to receive yet another prestigious accolade in recognition of our world class hospitality. This award is a testament of our passion and commitment to exemplify standards of excellence in ASEAN tourism.

“With this win, we are inspired to further elevate the gold standard of achievement for tourist attractions in ASEAN,” said RWG executive vice president (sales, marketing and public relations) Spencer Lee.

The event, which marked the conclusion of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2025, saw the conferment of twelve tourism awards of distinction to outstanding recipients. Resorts World Genting was among six tourism and hospitality-related organisations from Malaysia to receive an award.
