Resorts World Genting (RWG) has introduced an extensive plant-based menu across its various dining outlets to promote sustainable vegetarian food choices and human health.
These dishes reflect RWG’s commitment to sustainable dining, providing guests with alternatives that bring the flavours and versatility of plant-based ingredients.
At The Bakery, located on the lobby floor of Genting Grand, guests can enjoy local plant-based favorites such as Nasi Lemak and Bee Hoon, both priced at RM18 nett. It is open daily from 7:00 am until midnight from Sunday to Thursday, with extended hours until 2:00 am on Fridays, Saturdays and eve of public holidays.
At Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, guests may check out Buck’s Café plant-based specialties such as Thai Fried Rice (RM30 nett) and Egg Sandwich with Plant-Based Patty (RM12 nett), available from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm daily.
For guests craving Western flavours, Harry Ramsden on Level 4 of SkyAvenue serves plant-based options like Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing, both priced at RM22 nett each. It is open daily from 11:00 am to 1:00 am.
For a refined Cantonese experience, guests can visit Genting Palace on Level 2 of the Highlands Hotel. This non halal Chinese restaurant offers Braised Vegetables with Glass Noodles in Fermented Bean Paste (RM50 nett) and Sautéed Vegetarian Meat with Dried Chilies and Cashew Nuts (RM48 nett). Lunch is served from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm and dinner from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
At Malaysian Food Street (non-halal), located on Level 4 of SkyAvenue, guests can savour traditional local favourites like Plant-Based Dry Longevity Noodles and Longevity Noodles in Soup, both priced at RM18 nett, available from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, with extended hours until 11:00 pm on weekends and public holidays.
A variety of plant-based dishes can also be found at other outlets across the resort, including Seasons, Cha Chaan Teng (non-halal], Burger & Lobster, High Line, Jom Makan Street Food, Taiko Ramen, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, Jom Makan SkyAvenue, The Junction, Vila Festa and Genting SkyWorlds Kiosk, each location offers a unique selection of plant-based creations.
RWG’s venture into sustainable dining is led by seven chefs from its Superchef Squad which includes Tan Hang, Muhamad Muhader Wahi Anour (Aidil), Lee Kee Sin, Murugan Subramaniam, Lim Khon Seng (Casey), Low Lam Chong and Yap Sak Choong (Jacky). Their culinary mastery was recently honoured at the Genting Sustainbiz F&B Expo 2024 opening ceremony.
