Resorts World Genting hosts CNY “Ren Ri” celebration with charity yee sang tossing ceremony

Resorts World Genting held a “Ren Ri” Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration with a large-scale charity “Prosperity Lou Sang” tossing ceremony on February 23, 2026 in two sessions at noon and 6 pm.

Ren Ri (人日) or “Human Day” marks the seventh day of the CNY celebrations as the “common birthday of humankind”.

Taking place at the Genting International Showroom, under the theme “Leap High, Toss Higher,” more than 600 participants in the noon session engaged in the “Prosperity Lou Sang,” tossing the raw fish salad as high as possible to symbolize rising wealth, health and success.

All funds raised were donated to local charity homes to foster community warmth and festive spirit, marking another milestone in RWG’s ongoing mission to inspire care for the community.

The event, along with a curated CNY experience for media representatives, featured lion dance, cultural dance performance, Choy San Yeah  (God of Prosperity), mask-changing, LED dancers, humanoid robots and robot dogs performance, K-pop Demon Hunters pop-up store and an immersive studio experience at Genting SkyWorlds.
