In capturing the joy and enchantment of the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Sept 17 this year, Resorts World Genting (RWG) has put a spin on traditional mooncake flavours to present a refreshing take on the sweet pastry.
From July 1- Sept 17, 2024, customers can relish a variety of exquisite new flavours curated by the resort’s dim sum and Chinese pastry chef Gan Chee Keong.
With a play on fruity flavours, the resort presents in 2024 an intriguing new blend of Dragon Fruit with Single Yolk (RM23nett) and White Lotus with Durian Jingsa (RM23nett).
For an earthier taste with a satisfying crunch and a hint of citrus, customers can try the limited-edition Ng Yan Assorted Nuts with Truffle Oil (RM28nett) or if mochi-like dough rocks your boat, the new Pandan Snow Skin (RM22nett), available from Aug 18 only.
RWG will also be offering its signature heritage-inspired baked mooncakes such as the Ng Yan Assorted Nuts (RM28nett), Lotus Paste with Double Yolk (RM25nett), Lotus Paste with Single Yolk (RM23nett) and Pu Er Lotus Paste with Single Yolk (RM23nett)
Customers can also take their pick of Golden Jade with Single Yolk (RM23nett), Low Sugar White Lotus Paste (RM22nett), Green Tea Lotus Paste (RM22nett), Red Bean (RM19nett) and God of Wealth Cookies (RM8nett/2pieces per pack) throughout the promotion period.
The meticulously crafted mooncakes are available at Flavours of Genting kiosks from 10am till 10pm at the following locations: Bakery, Genting Grand, Lobby Floor; Coffee Terrace, Genting Grand, Lobby Floor; First World Hotel Lobby, Lobby Floor and Malaysian Food Street Entrance, Level 4 SkyAvenue (from 12 noon till 8pm only).
RWG has rolled out four mooncake gift box sets for Mid-Autumn Festival 2024, featuring the resort’s signature mooncakes and bundled with other Flavours of Genting products.
Customers can select from four different sets available:
- Set 1 (RM108) – comes with White Lotus with Durian Jingsa, Red Bean Paste, Green Tea Lotus, Lotus Paste Single Yolk, Sambal with Dried Shrimps and Sambal Anchovies.
- Set 2 (RM113) – comes with Lotus Paste Double Yolk, Green Tea Lotus Paste, Lotus Paste Single Yolk, Red Bean Paste, Sambal with Dried Shrimps and Sambal Anchovies.
- Set 3 (RM108) – comes with Lotus Double Yolk, Low Sugar White Lotus Paste, Green Tea Lotus Paste, Dragon Fruit Single Yolk and Pineapple Tarts (12 pcs).
- Set 4 (RM118) – comes with Lotus Paste Single Yolk, Golden Jade Single Yolk, Green Tea Lotus Paste, Red Bean Paste and Durian Biscuits (12 pcs).
From July 1-31, customers can take advantage of early bird deals offering 30% off purchases and “collect later” purchases.
For online purchases via i-Holiday from July 1-Aug 17, customers can also enjoy the 30% discount and collect at any of Flavours of Genting kiosks.
Additionally, from Aug 1-Sept 17, customers can enjoy 15% discount for bulk purchases of 20 to 99 boxes of 4 pieces per box; and 30% discount for 100 boxes or more.
