Indonesia’s top and award-winning songstress Raisa Andriana, better known by her stage name Raisa, is all set for her first concert Raisa: Live in Malaysia, in Kuala Lumpur on November 20, 2022.
The 32-year-old artiste is in town to do a series of promotional engagements for her one-night-only exclusive concert at Zepp Kuala Lumpur.
“Raisa and her management team arrived safely in Malaysia on Nov 6 to promote her exclusive ‘one-night-only’ concert through a series of promotional engagements via TV and radio programs carried out by Hitman Solutions.” concert organizer Hitman Solutions said in a media statement.
“To begin, Raisa made her first public appearance in Malaysia by performing at the country’s number one reality TV competition, Gegar Vaganza 9.
“On the 7th November, Raisa held an interview with the country’s number one radio station, ERA FM. Later in the day, a special ‘hi-tea’ event was held with fellow Malaysian artists with the intention to establish good bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries,” said chief executive officer and founder Rohit Rampal, according to the statement.
Rohit said the press conference held at Sunway Hotel Putra on Nov 8 was aimed at sparking media buzz and conversation about Raisa’s debut concert on Nov 20.
“The press conference is also to officially introducing her to the Malaysian press and forming a bond between her and members of the media, who’ve been so supportive.
“And right after this PC, Raisa will head to Seri Pentas and Astro to record for Melodi TV3 and a special HLive! ‘in-person’ program in Astro Ria and Ria HD channels,” he said.
Raisa rose to fame with her first single, entitled ‘Serba Salah’, taken from her debut album ‘Raisa’ in 2011. The following year, she won the award for ‘Best New Artist’ at the 15th Anugerah Musik Indonesia and ‘Best New Female Artist’ at the Anugerah Planet Muzik.
A diamond in the rough, Raisa would continue to polish her talent while winning several other musical accolades as well as the hearts of millions.
“Raisa has a massive presence in the Indonesian music industry, and her work has also received significant attention in our country too.
“This achievement is due to her being no ordinary singer. Her melodious voice is iconic and represents a new wave of pop music such as ballad and jazz, and in addition to other similar melancholic musical numbers.
“Fans can expect to be entertained by 20 of her hit songs in a two-hour extravaganza, accompanied by professional musicians and our famed, sought-after audio-visual production. We have great expectations for this concert and hope that everyone will seize this rare opportunity,” added Rohit.
All tickets for VVIP, CAT 3 and CAT 4 ticket categories have been sold out on the first day, while the remaining CAT 1 (RM250 – free standing) and CAT 2 (RM200 – free standing) tickets are still available.
