Pos Malaysia Berhad, the national post and parcel service provider, has unveiled the special edition Pokemon stamp folder set, with specially designed Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) stamps.
Priced at RM99 each set, the commemorative folder includes ten stamps, four postcards, a souvenir cover envelope, a Pokemon TCG fun pack and a playmat for playing the card game.
The stamps feature designs inspired by the globally recognised Pokemon Trading Card Game, showcasing beloved Pokemon such as Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur.
Fiona Liao, group chief marketing, communications and sustainability officer of Pos Malaysia said the launch marks a milestone for Pos Malaysia as it embarks on a landmark collaboration in Southeast Asia with one of the world’s most iconic pop culture brands.
“Just as Pokémon brings people together globally, we too are passionate about delivering meaningful connections. We are excited to bring this special stamp collection to life as part of that mission.
“The stamp set offers a delightful collectible experience, blending Pos Malaysia’s philatelic craftsmanship with the global phenomenon that has captured the hearts of millions across generations.
“It is a wonderful way for both stamp enthusiasts and Pokémon fans across Malaysia and Southeast Asia to celebrate their love for this timeless franchise while keeping the joy of stamp collecting alive,” she said.
The pre-order campaign kicks off on Feb 21, and will be available while stocks last. Fans can pre-order their special stamp set through any of these avenues:
- In-Person: Visit Pos Malaysia’s booth at the Pokemon TCG Showdown 2025 at LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre, Kuala Lumpur, from Feb 21-23, between 10am and 8pm; or
- In-Person: Pos Malaysia’s 90 Philatelic Bureaus nationwide, including 13 General Post Offices; or
- Online: Via Pos Malaysia’s official online store at https://shop.pos.com.my.
Pos Malaysia is offering free delivery for customers who order their stamp sets from its booth at the Pokemon TCG Showdown 2025 on Feb 21-23, 2025.
For those who prefer to collect their orders in person, pre-orders can be made at any of the 90 Philatelic Bureaus. Delivery and self-collection are expected to begin on March 27, 2025.
