It represents a critical infrastructure that supports economic growth, facilitates trade, and connects the communities. The value of the personal and tangible touch of postal services remains irreplaceable in the fast-paced digital communication era that we all live in today,” said Fahmi.
He commended Pos Malaysia on its continuous strive for service excellence.
Pos Laju, the courier arm of Pos Malaysia, attained a 4-star rating under the MyKurier programme and was crowned the fastest and most reliable courier service provider by the MCMC Star Rating Awards 2023.
“So, to everyone in Pos Malaysia, from the Abang Pos who are out on duty come rain or shine, to the staff at the sorting centre, back office and service counters, we appreciate your dedication. You are the unsung heroes who play a vital role in keeping our nation connected,” Fahmi added.
The Minister later presented long service awards to 16 Pos Malaysia employees who have been with the company for 35 years and above.
