This Ramadan, PNB Merdeka Ventures (PNBMV) is hosting its first-ever “Bazram Merdeka”, a vibrant bazaar Ramadan at the historic Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.
Running from February 21 to March 18, 2026, the free-entry event features over 100 stalls, food trucks and picnic-style berbuka (breaking fast) spots with views of Merdeka 118, offering a unique, nostalgic atmosphere for the community.

Bazram Merdeka reflects PNBMV’s commitment to the Warisan KL vision, also known as Warisan Ibu Kota Malaysia Madani, to revitalise Kuala Lumpur’s historic core through heritage and culture based urban rejuvenation and placemaking activities.
As a flagship location under Warisan KL, the bazaar takes place at the historic Stadium Merdeka and is expected to attract an estimated 100,000 visitors over the month.
PNB Merdeka Ventures chief executive officer Dato’ Ir Ts Izwan Ibrahim said, ”Stadium Merdeka has always been a place where Malaysians come together. With Bazram Merdeka, we want to honour that spirit by creating a Ramadan experience that feels open, welcoming and rooted in community.
“Aligned with the vision of Warisan KL, we believe heritage spaces should be lived in and experienced by everyone. By hosting Bazram Merdeka here, we hope to bring people back to a historic space and becomes something people look forward to every year.”
Visitors can purchase food and drinks from a curated mix of vendors and enjoy iftar picnic style on the Stadium Merdeka field, with offerings ranging from local favourites and classic bazaar staples to street food bites, desserts and refreshing beverages, including Sophia Albarakbah’s signature Air Kelapa Pandan, Alif Satay, Amane Pizza, Burger Blek, DC Yogurt, Mr. Crispy Prawn and Henry Lekor.
The evening can also continue with Solat Tarawih at Masjid Al-Sultan Abdullah, located just across Stadium Merdeka.

Participating vendors at Bazram Merdeka expressed deep appreciation for opportunities to display diverse local food products.
Sukiya Beef Bowl vendor Muhammad Mujahid said Bazram Merdeka is not just a place for them to sell food, but also a meaningful space for gathering with family and friends during Ramadan.
“Visitors can enjoy a variety of food and at the same time perform their Maghrib and Tarawih prayers nearby, which makes the experience even more special. We hope Bazram Merdeka will become a new tradition that continues in the years to come,” he said.
Kuih seller Rusilawati Borhan, also known as Kak Comel from People System Consultancy, a recipient of the Merdeka 118 Community Grants Programme, shared, “I’m very thankful to PNB Merdeka Ventures for creating Bazram Merdeka as a platform for small vendors like us to sell our traditional kuih. It is a meaningful opportunity for us to share homemade treats with more people while enjoying the festive Ramadan atmosphere here.”
Andy Leng of Imperial Beef Roti said, “Selling at Bazram Merdeka has been a great experience for us. With so many visitors coming to the Merdeka 118 area, it gives vendors like us better exposure and the chance to reach new customers. We truly appreciate PNB and Merdeka 118 for creating this opportunity and supporting local businesses during Ramadan.”
A special Ramadan parking rate of RM1 per hour will be available to the public from 3pm to 12am at Menara Merdeka 118.
