PNB gives out cash aid to 30 UniRazak students

KUALA LUMPUR – Thirty outstanding students from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UniRazak) received cash aid amounting to RM30,000

PNB gives out tithes to UniRazak students as encouragement for continued excellence.

Thirty outstanding students from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UniRazak) received cash aid amounting to RM30,000 under the Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) zakat programme.

The recipients identified by the Wakalah UniRazak Committee received RM1,000 each.

”We hope the zakat contribution will support the students’ financial needs to pursue their studies and strive to pass with flying colours,” said PNB president and group chief executive Dato’ Abdul Rahman Ahmad at a PNB tithes contribution ceremony to UniRazak students.

Also present at the event were UniRazak chief executive officer Amil Izham Hamzah and acting vice chancellor Datin Paduka profesor Dr. Shamsinar Md Sidin.

Muhamad Nasrun Marzuki, 21, from Kulim, Kedah, a second year student of Bachelor of Islamic Financial Planning was thankful and grateful for being among the recipients of the PNB zakat. He sadi he was determined to utilise the contribution to finance the cost of living during his studies at UniRazak.
