Pavilion Bukit Jalil is welcoming shoppers to celebrate the Festival of Lights with the theme “Deepavali Harmoni”, showcasing colourful kolams, performances and fashion show alongside shopping redemptions from now until October 31, 2022.

Shoppers are greeted with vibrant and intricate kolams designed by kolam master Ruben Prakash.
Be awed by the breathtakingly beautiful lotus-inspired 3D Kolam at main entrance, level 3, and have cameras ready for the picture perfect and Insta-worthy kolam featuring a majestic 15-foot-tall giant peacock with its gorgeous 20ft x 30ft kolam tail at level 5, pink zone.
Shoppers can also explore vibrant community kolams at the malls Bukit Jalil entrance, level 2 and Piazza entrance, level 3. Over 100 students of INTI Centre of Art & Design completed making the kolams in two days, as part of the mall’s ongoing initiative to nurture creativity amongst students while providing a platform for them to showcase their work.
Harmonious gathering
To kick off the festivities, the mall hosted a Deepavali celebration and lighting ceremony with Pavilion Bukit Jalil management, community leaders, Malaysian Tourist Guides members, tenants and over 80 students from SJK (Tamil) Ladang Bukit Jalil.
The event saw the different members of the community coming together to launch the ‘Deepavali Harmoni’ festivities which was filled with vibrant colours as people donned their traditional Indian attire, and celebrated with music, dancing and art.
Harmonious festivities
Colourful and lively performances are lined up to hype up the festivities. The performances include:
- Bharatanatyam group ‘Jewels of Sadir’ classical dance performance on October 9 from 2pm – 2.30pm at level 2, orange zone.
- Diwali Fashion Show by MoveKids featuring 17 kids showcasing traditional Indian attire on October 16 from 2pm – 2.30pm,
- Deepavali Dance Show featuring a dance troupe of 500 people on October 19 from 4pm – 5pm.
Harmonious shopping and rewards
Shoppers looking to channel their inner Bollywood star this Deepavali can drop by at the newly opened and first in Malaysia Yeshan Sarees, level 2 (pink zone) for a wide range of ethnic Indian wear, including authentic Banarasi sarees, kurtas, lehengas and a custom hand-made wedding collection.
From now until October 30, shoppers can also redeem limited-edition festive gifts such as ceramic mugs with a minimum spend of RM100, scented candles with a minimum spend of RM200 and oval ceramic plates with a minimum spend of RM300.
