OrphanCare, a non-profit organisation and iOli Communications, an award-winning PR agency have announced their new partnership to raise awareness of OrphanCare’s initiative of giving children in institutions and unplanned newborn babies the chance to grow up in the care of a family.
The collaboration, under iOli’s newly launched initiative PRoject Good, aims to strengthen awareness of child welfare and family-based care.
Yan Lim, chief executive officer of iOli Communications said, “At iOli, we believe in the power of stories to inspire change. Through PRoject Good, our goal is to amplify the voices of organisations that are making a difference so that their impact can be seen, heard and felt by wider communities.”
As iOli’s first fully pro bono PR project, the partnership reflects the agency’s commitment to supporting social-impact organisations by amplifying their voices and causes.
As part of the collaboration, iOli will provide strategic communications support to raise public awareness and mobilise greater community involvement.

Meanwhile, Riza Alwi, advocacy, communications and fundraising manager of OrphanCare said, “We are deeply grateful to iOli Communications for choosing us as one of the first projects under PRoject Good. Together, we can continue to champion the rights of children and create lasting impact.”
OrphanCare, which has successfully facilitated the placement of over 600 babies through its baby hatch programme and supported more than 400 children in finding permanent homes since 2008, will benefit from enhanced media engagement and advocacy efforts.
For iOli Communications, PRoject Good reflects a long-term commitment to leveraging PR as a force for good.
“By launching PRoject Good, we want to give NGOs like OrphanCare the same strategic tools that corporations use, so their impact can be amplified. This is our way of giving back and ensuring that important stories don’t go unheard,” Lim added.
She further called on fellow communications professionals and agencies: “If you share the belief that good PR can create real change, we invite you to join us. Together, we can pool our skills, networks and creativity to strengthen social initiatives and NGOs by helping their causes reach further and resonate louder.”
