NCT Group signs up three more partners for Selangor smart industrial park development

ESG commitment drives NCT Group’s momentum – It signs up three new partners, AGV Environment Sdn Bhd, Darco Water Systems Sdn Bhd and Pestech Energy Sdn Bhd, for its upcoming Selangor Smart Industrial Park project.

The NCT Group has signed up with three new partners in preparation for its upcoming Selangor Smart Industrial Park (SSIP) project.

The property developer said two Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were signed, one each with AGV Environment Sdn Bhd (AGVE) and Darco Water Systems Sdn Bhd (Darco), as well as a Collaboration Agreement (CA) was inked with Pestech Energy Sdn Bhd (Pestech).

NCT Group founder and managing director Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy said the partnerships will position SSIP as a top-of-mind choice for the group’s prospective investors.

“The MoUs and collaboration agreement will enable us to tap into the expertise of our partners to offer the best features while catering to the evolving industry needs.

“It is our commitment to ensure that SSIP is conducive and equipped with complete, future-ready infrastructure, utilities, and amenities to attract foreign and domestic investments with a view to long-term sustainable business operations,” he said.

The collaboration through the MOU with AGV Environment will allow both companies to leverage on each other’s technical knowledge and best practices to jointly develop a sustainable eco-industrial park.

Besides that, the MoU will provide an opportunity for both parties to create awareness and position SSIP as an eco-friendly development particularly for Selangor.

“Evolving ESG practises necessitate customized sustainable solutions to support environmental stewardship, social equity and moving toward net zero,” said AGV Environment chief executive officer Datin Dr. Vijayalakshmi Samuel.

NCT Group appointed Darco as its water and waste water specialist at SSIP to provide technical advice on matters relating to water and waste water management.

The CA with Pestech was to jointly drive decarbonisation ambitions of both parties to reduce industrial and commercial carbon footprint.

The agreement will include the provision of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles at the SSIP. This will form part of the growing network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations managed by Pluginfinite.

Pluginfinite is Pestech’s EV charging management platform that helps operators monitor and manage EV charging networks in real-time.
