Mrs. Malaysia Globe is back in November and promises to be bolder, more sophisticated and glamorous this year.
In anticipation of the grand finals on Nov 5 at the Mega Star Arena, Sungei Wang Plaza in Kuala Lumpur, the pageant team has curated a series of training activities and workshops for the finalists, including awareness on mental health and cognitive consciousness, grooming, catwalk, Bollywood dance and personal branding.
Contestants also participate in mermaiding sport as part of the pageantry activity in promoting wellness and fitness.
The pageant’s commitment to meaningful advocacy shines through two initiatives. As an advocate awareness to stop domestic violence and support women, the pageant will arrange a Muay Thai training session tailored specifically to equip participants with self-defense techniques to protect them in real-life situations.
Contestants will embark on a special project with dyslexic children, where they will design unique t-shirts, each spotlighting a word which children with dyslexia commonly find challenging to spell or pronounce.
The ‘Decoding Dyslexia‘ t-shirts will be auctioned off to raise money for two dyslexic centres during the grand finale.
Sustainability will also take centre stage with a CSR project on ethical farming with contestants gain hands-on experience harvesting fruits and vegetables, underlining the importance of sustainable practices in their daily lives.
The harvested fruits and vegetables will be sold to the B40 community within the Keramat area.
To ensure contestants are at their very best, an intensive pageant boot camp is scheduled from Nov 1-4 at DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City.
The grand finale promises to be a grand spectacle, and set to keep audiences entertained, from mesmerising traditional musical instrument performances such as the Sarawak Orang Ulu’s Sape and Chinese guzheng and erhu, to eye catching outfits adorned by the finalists.
Hyacinth Ho, the director of Mrs Malaysia Globe (MMG) organisation said: “This year’s Mrs. Malaysia Globe brings to the spotlight the resilience and transformative journey of our contestants.
“Through activities that underscore sustainability, self-defence and social advocacy, we’re championing a new era where beauty meets purpose, and where every contestant tells a story of strength, compassion and heritage.”
