Pamela Yau said she felt honoured and proud to be Mrs Celebrity International 2024 winner.

“Winning the title was a dream come true. It feels surreal and immensely gratifying to see my hard work and dedication recognized on such a prestigious platform,” said the mother of four children.

“This title is not just a personal achievement but also a testament to the unwavering support of my family, friends and mentors who believed in me every step of the way.

“I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and excited to use this platform to inspire and empower others.”

Yau, standing tall at 176 cm (5’ 9”) was born in Kuala Terengganu and now resides in Kuala Lumpur. She started modelling at age 20, and transitioned to being a catwalk coach when she was 38.

“I have only entered one beauty pageant before, Miss Malaysia Negeri Sembilan, where I was the first runner-up. This achievement opened the door for me to pursue modelling as a career.

“Transitioning to a catwalk coach has allowed me to share my knowledge and passion with aspiring models, helping them navigate the industry and build their confidence just as I did.”

About zero waste, Yau said, “I believe that waste is a very serious issue for our world. We unknowingly waste a lot of resources, but by using small techniques like recycling old items, bartering, reducing waste, and practicing recycling, we can make a small contribution to our country and our planet. This will help ensure a better future for our future generations.”
