The Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS2025) returns for its eight edition, started on May 9 and runs until May 15 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (Maeps) in Selangor.
The event, presented by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), set the stage for a new chapter in the country’s mobility narrative.
Spanning 50,000 square metres of multiple halls, the Autoshow integrates the entire mobility value chain from OEMs and aftermarket suppliers to financial institutions and EV infrastructure providers under one roof.
It features over 200 exhibitors, more than 500 vehicles on display, and a record number of electric vehicles (EVs) in both the passenger and two-wheeler segments, cementing its role as the region’s premier platform to explore the future of transportation.
This year, there are more than 70 new model launches, including cars, motorcycles, EVs and innovative mobility solutions.

Officiating at the launch of Malaysia Autoshow 2025 at Maeps on May 8, the Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz described the Autoshow as a strategic milestone in Malaysia’s journey to becoming a hub for sustainable, next-generation mobility.
“The resilience of Malaysia’s automotive sector hinges on deeper regional supply chain integration. By fostering complementary supply chains and developing markets within Asean, we can significantly boost production efficiency, reduce dependence on external markets, as well as build a more agile and robust automotive ecosystem,” he said.
