Miss CosmoWorld launches global initiative to empower women and promote Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage.

The Miss CosmoWorld 2024 pageant has been officially launched at the Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur on May 23, 2024.

The esteemed event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including guest of honour and Miss CosmoWorld honorary advisor Tengku Dato’ Hishammuddin Zaizi, alongside the driving forces behind the initiative, Miss CosmoWorld founder Carrie Lee and Miss CosmoWorld 2024 organizing chairman James Bak.

The globally recognised Malaysia homegrown international pageant brand founded by Carrie Lee aims to showcase women empowerment and diversity and promote Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and legacy on the global stage.

Speaking at the launch, Carrie Lee said, “Miss CosmoWorld is more than just a pageant; it is a platform for women to embrace their individuality, celebrate their cultural heritage and pursue their dreams with confidence and determination.

“Through this initiative, we strive to empower women to become leaders and change-makers in their communities and beyond.”

Carrie Lee further said that the dynamic and competitive landscape of pageantry required Miss CosmoWorld to continually seek new collaborations and partnerships to enhance its innovation and relevance.

“Whether it’s through technological advancements or leveraging additional resources, we welcome creative ideas and proposals. If you have the means and vision to collaborate, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us,” she said.

James Bak echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the transformative power of empowerment and cultural exchange in driving positive change and fostering mutual understanding.

“As Miss CosmoWorld embarks on this inspiring journey, we invites individuals and communities to join hands in championing women’s empowerment and promoting cultural diversity and inclusivity on a global scale,” he said.
