PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn Bhd (PMVSB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), hosted its second annual ‘Bubur Lambuk Bersama Komuniti Merdeka 118’ event aimed at fostering community spirit during Ramadan.

This year’s gathering marked the first time it was held at the historic Stadium Merdeka, bringing together volunteers and local residents for a day of camaraderie and meaningful engagement.

The event saw PNB and PMVSB volunteers preparing and distributing bubur lambuk to the community. From 7:30 am, volunteers worked together to cook the hearty dish, with distribution commencing at 2:00 pm after the Friday prayers at Masjid Al-Sultan Abdullah.

The initiative successfully reached hundreds of local residents, with 500 packs of bubur lambuk distributed.

We will continue to spearhead initiatives that prioritise and uplift the people who make up this vibrant community.”

Perumahan Awam Seri Sarawak Residents Association chairman Mohd Azmi Zakaria said, “It’s heartening to see a major corporation like PMVSB remain committed to engaging with its neighbouring communities. Their support has been instrumental in uplifting the surrounding areas, particularly the residents of Seri Sarawak.

Last year’s inaugural event saw nearly 450 packs of bubur lambuk distributed to residents of PA Seri Sarawak, PA Jalan Hang Tuah, PA Loke Yew, and PA Seri Selangor.
