
Malaysia celebrates a proud moment as Sariya Ng Lum Teng took home the main title at the 2025 World Queen International Beauty Pageant held in Taipei, Taiwan recently.
Representing Malaysia, Ng emerged champion of the Miss category at the pageant finals on October 12-15, 2025
She impressed the judges and audience with her elegance, intelligence and creative expression, triumphing among contestants from 15 countries across the globe. Her achievement marks a significant milestone for Malaysia on the international stage.
“I am deeply honoured to represent Malaysia and to share our country’s beauty and creativity with the world,” Ng said after her win.
“This victory is not only mine but belongs to everyone who believed in me and supported my journey.”

Beyond her pageant success, Ng is also a talented florist, known for her artistry and dedication to her craft.
Her journey from florist to international queen serves as an inspiring example of how passion, hard work and confidence can lead to extraordinary accomplishments.

The World Queen International competition aims to celebrate global beauty, talent and cultural exchange.
This year’s event in Taiwan brought together outstanding participants from 15 nations, each showcasing their individuality and national pride.
Participants aged between 20 and 60 were grouped into three categories – Miss, Mrs and Mrs Classic. They competed in various segments throughout the show, including national costume and evening gown.
Ng’s win reinforces Malaysia’s growing presence and excellence in the international pageant arena, shining a spotlight on the nation’s vibrant talent and cultural charm.
