Malaysia all set to host Miss World Noble Queen 2023 in December

Malaysia is all set to host the Miss World Noble Queen pageant yet again in December after a 3-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

The Miss World Noble Queen pageant was last held in 2019 in Hong Kong, won by Miss France Sonia Mansur.

The much-anticipated 6th edition of Miss World Noble Queen 2023 grand final will take place on December 12, 2023 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

The pageant, with the theme ‘Environmental Protection’, aims to celebrate inner and outer beauty, talent, intelligence, and promote environmental awareness and charitable causes.

“We are proud to announce that Malaysia will host the Miss World Noble Queen 2023 competition and a valuable opportunity to showcase the beauty, culture and diversity of Malaysia to the world,” said Miss World Noble Queen founder Jan Sit, a former beauty queen.

“The global pageant will promote Malaysia tourism through the country’s rich diversity of culture and landscapes, and put Malaysia on the world map of beauty pageants,” she said.

The event will bring together 25 Miss World Noble Queen delegates from around the world vying for the prestigious crown.

Participating countries and territories include Greece, Moldova, Germany, Czech Republic, Georgia, Slovakia, Estonia, Belarus, Switzerland, France, Romania Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Kenya, Japan, India, China, and host Malaysia.

The pageant will take place over eight days, beginning with the arrival of delegates on Dec 5.

Sit disclosed that the pageant has received the support and endorsement from Tourism Malaysia, an agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

A wide range of programmes, including arts and cultural heritage activities. will be held for the delegates as part of the competition.

“The delegates will be provided with traditional arts and cultural experiences, and will visit tourist attractions and famous landmarks in the country.

“These include a charity visit to the Orang Asli aboriginal village in Hulu Kemensah, Hulu Klang, Selangor, where the delegates will have the opportunity to spend some time interacting with the Orang Asli community to understand their ways of life.

“We want to make it a memorable experience for the international delegates to enjoy all that Malaysia has to offer.”

Sit thanked the venue sponsor Berjaya Times Square Hotel for hosting the Miss World Noble Queen 2023 grand final and providing accommodation for the delegates during the pageant.

Guests will be served healthy vegetarian meal during the Miss World Nobel Queen grand final on Dec 12 to promote environmental awareness and a healthy lifestyle.

The Miss World Noble Queen beauty pageant is open only to unmarried women between the ages of 18 and 30.

Malaysia had last hosted the international pageant in 2015 and 2016, after which the pageant was hosted abroad, first in Myanmar (2017), then in Cambodia (2018) and in Hong Kong (2019).
